I am going to send some photos with my short thoughts about why these places are special for visitors to IF 🙂
The central train station in Ivano-Frankivsk is where your adventure begins. The station is also the gateway to the nearby Carpathian Mountains and provides easy access to many other Ukrainian cities. The station is easy to navigate and ensures you have a quick and pleasant journey to your destination.
Visitors to Ivano-Frankivsk must explore the city center and see the unusual and interesting Ratusha building. If you feel brave, you can climb to the top of the tower for a beautiful panoramic view of the city. On a clear day, you can even see the mountains.
Also, don’t forget to see the egg-shaped fountain and toss in a coin for good luck.
A walk through the city reveals many beautiful buildings and enjoyable places to sit and watch community life. The pink and white Children’s Library building looks like a fairytale castle and is situated by small lovely parks where you might drink a coffee or play a game of chess.
Next to the largest theatre in the city center, the fountain near the Nadiya Hotel is a good place to see a view of the main city street. Outdoor concerts and public gatherings are often held nearby.
One of the most moving sights in the city is the Memorial square. Before making a pilgrimage to visit this living memorial, visitors should take some time to first learn about the sacrifice of the Ukrainians who lost their lives defending their country.
Locals know that the outdoor track near Memorial Park is a quiet and peaceful place to get some exercise. Sometimes a friendly stray dog will also join you for your jog.
An early-morning walk through the old part of the city is a nice time to enjoy the historic statues and newer metal sculptures that can be found close to the Bastion. You might hear some beautiful church bells, too. There is a small art museum with some examples of traditional and modern art from the region.

Центральний залізничний вокзал в Івано-Франківську – це місце, де починаються ваші пригоди. Залізнична станція є брамою до Карпат та забезпечує легкий доступ до багатьох інших міст України. Станція зручна для навігації та забезпечує швидку і приємну подорож до місця призначення.
Відвідувачі Івано-Франківська повинні погуляти центром міста та побачити незвичайну та цікаву будівлю Ратуші. Якщо ви достатньо мужній, ви можете піднятися на вершину Ратуші, щоб помилуватись прекрасним панорамним видом на місто. У ясний день можна навіть побачити гори.
Крім того, не забудьте відвідати фонтан у формі яйця і кинути монету на щастя.
Гуляючи містом ви побачите багато гарних будівель та приємних місць, де можна посидіти та спостерігати за життям міста. Рожево-біла будівля дитячої бібліотеки виглядає як казковий замок і розташована біля маленьких чудових парків, де можна випити кави або зіграти в шахи.
Поруч із найбільшим театром у центрі міста, фонтан біля готелю “Надія”, є гарним місцем, щоб помилуватися видом на головну вулицю міста. Поруч часто проводяться концерти на відкритому повітрі та громадські збори.
Однією з найбільш зворушливих пам’яток міста є Меморіальний сквер. Перш ніж відвідати цей сквер, відвідувачам слід витратити трохи часу, щоб спочатку дізнатись про жертви українців, які поклали життя, захищаючи свою країну.
Місцеві жителі знають, що доріжка біля Меморіального парку – це тихе і спокійне місце для фізичних вправ. Іноді, доброзичлива бродяча собака також приєднується до вас для пробіжки.
Ранкова прогулянка старою частиною міста – приємний час, щоб насолодитися історичними статуями та новими металевими скульптурами, які можна знайти неподалік Бастіону. Ви також можете почути гарні церковні дзвони. Є невеликий художній музей з деякими прикладами традиційного та сучасного мистецтва регіону.
